Lack of sleep is linked to poor health, weight gain, sleep disorders, and an increased risk of chronic diseases. Sleep disorders such as insomnia, narcolepsy, restless legs syndrome, and sleep apnea.

CONSEQUENCES
Mental, physical, and emotional health could be affected by not getting enough sleep.
In the college population, GPA could be affected by a lack of sleep. In a study of undergraduate students, the GPA of students who slept six hours or less had a lower GPA than students who slept nine hours or more.
